GreenCare for Children
Project Description: GreenCare for Children helps family child care and center-based programs create healthy and safe settings free from avoidable health hazards, such as pesticides, toxic chemicals and asthma triggers. The GreenCare for Children website provides technical information, numerous resources, a forum for online discussions and an interactive pledge system.
Features: By registering and taking the pledge, child care providers can become recognized as GreenCare Providers, or take specific actions steps toward upholding the required standards to qualify. We worked closely with the program managers, designing the online pledge system to be user-friendly and flexible, allowing registrants to log in and view, edit and complete their work on action steps over time. The website includes a full registration and reporting system for GreenCare program administrators to track pledges and facilitate progress.
